For the Portuguese, the presence of brands in social networks helps to have better knowledge and faster communication, influencing their purchase options. Nike, Continente and Adidas are the most followed brands in the net.
Almost 1 in 4 social network users have shopped directly on one of these platforms, with Facebook bringing together most of the buyers who were satisfied with their latest shopping experience on these sites, according to data from the study “The Portuguese and the Social Networking “by Marktest Consulting.
The desire to want to be informed / updated, the fact of liking the brand and the interest in the area are among the reasons most aimed to be fans of the companies, with more than half (54.3%) of individuals with a profile created on sites of social networks to follow companies or brands.
The benefits pointed out by the 818 interviewed individuals and users of social networks go through access to information or knowledge and access to promotions / discounts, with more than 2 out of 3 social network users remembering to have seen advertising on social networks. Nike, Super Bock and Meo were the companies mentioned spontaneously.
The “Portuguese and Social Networks” study has been carried out by Marktest Consulting since 2011 and evaluates the habits of social network users, the sites they know and use the most, the features they value the most, as well as the frequency with which they access the sites and with which they publish information and the time that they dedicate them or the equipment that they use to access.
